Legendary Event Center in Columbus, Ohio may be the perfect place to host your next event!

Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, seminar, social gathering, or private party, we’ve got you covered!

With 1,800+ square feet, and 2 levels including a mezzanine / wraparound interior balcony, we can accommodate both small, intimate gatherings as well as large groups.

Our facility holds up to approximately 250-300 people depending on the desired room layout and seating arrangements.

Our event venue is conveniently located in downtown Columbus, Ohio, and is housed in the original ballroom of the historic Seneca Hotel building.

Originally built in 1917, our unique space features some of the most elegant and historic architectural details, woodwork, and ceiling designs, that you’ll find anywhere in the city!

These factors that set our event space apart from others, and will help to make your event at our space not only fun, unique, and memorable, but also… wait for it… legendary!

Amenities

Your rental of Legendary Event Center comes with…

👉  1. A historic venue with vintage, elegant wainscoting woodwork, ornate ceilings, marble ballroom floor, and exquisite architectural details and character that you won’t find anywhere else!

This promises to be the most uniquely detailed space that you will find at such an unbeatable value and price!

👉  2. 1,800+ Square Feet, including a spacious first floor ballroom, and a 2nd floor mezzanine/wrap-around balcony overlooking the first floor.

We can easily accommodate groups as small as 10-20 and up to 200-300, depending on the layout of tables and chairs.

👉  3. Chairs and tables for at least 100 people. (We’ll be providing more in the near future).

👉  4. An excellent sound system including speakers and microphone (so you don’t have to hire a DJ if you don’t want to)

👉  5. WiFi access

👉  6. Multi-colored lighting system

👉  7. Control of heat and A/C to ensure the comfort of your guests

👉  8. Two (2) Restrooms

👉  9. Access to our thermostats to control heating and air conditioning (some places don’t allow that)

Setup of Tables and Chairs:  We make the chairs and tables accessible to you.

You and your group would be responsible to setup tables and chairs exactly the way you want them for your event…

And to return them to their starting position (as you found them) upon completion of your event.

Breakdown and Cleanup: 
The cleanup is the responsibility of each group.  Each group is expected to return the venue in the same level of cleanliness as they found it.

Time for Setup/Decorations and Breakdown/Cleanup:  We recommend that most smaller events include time for at least 1 hour for setup/decorations and 1 hour for breakdown/cleanup.

We recommend that most larger events include time for at least 2 hours for setup/decorations and 2 hours for breakdown/cleanup.

Total Event Time:  Your total event time should include appropriate time for setup/decorations and breakdown/cleanup.

*Minimum Time Frame:  Most events will be charged a minimum of 3 hours of usage, unless stated otherwise in writing.

If you believe you have a smaller, shorter event that requires little-to-no setup/cleanup time (such as a yoga class, dance class, short business meeting, etc.), then we may consider making an exception.

Food and Catering:  You may bring your own food and/or catering.  We are planning to put in a kitchenette, that may or may not be fully installed prior to your event.

Groups are responsible for clarifying this with their caterer to make sure that the caterer can make the necessary preparations and accommodations.

Alcohol:  BYOB is permitted.  Alcohol can NOT be sold OR given away freely, without qualifying for and obtaining a proper temporary permit from the State of Ohio.

Candles, Fire, Smoke, Glitter:  Candles and fire cannot be used except for normal-sized birthday cakes (or similar cakes).  Smoke and glitter cannot be used.

Rates

Monday – Thursday our current promotional rate is just only $75/hour! 

(This is discounted from our standard weekly rate of $200/hour, which is a 62% discount!)*

Friday – Sunday our current promotional rate is just only $100/hour! 

(This is discounted from our standard weekend rate of $250/hour, which is a 60% discount!)**

Typically, Saturday events must end no later than 7 pm, including breakdown/cleanup.  Our venue is already booked every Saturday night with our own Salsa Dance Classes and Parties by Lincoln Street Salsa.

If you require a Saturday event running past 7 pm, that requires flat rate premium pricing of a minimum of $5k.

Daily, Weekly, or Monthly Recurring Events… such as a Church Service, Bible Study, Yoga Class, Exercise Class, Dance Class, etc… may be eligible for negotiable, deeply discounted pricing!

All prices are subject to change without notice unless reservations are locked in with payment.

50% of the rental fee up is due up front to reserve your booking.  The remaining balance of the rental fee is due 30 days prior to your event.  All rental fees paid are non-refundable.
